Fable III Information

I have noticed that a lot of you don't know what's going to be in the third one, so let me show you a few things.

1. Fable 3 isn't going to go that much into the future. It will go 50 years past the '1700's' like in the second one. Peter even said that you will be a king. You might play as your son; but as he said you will have your character Imported into the 3rd. What you did in the 2nd one will make you a 'Pure', 'Normal' or 'Corrupt' king. Say if you decided to take the 1 million dollars.

From this, it's pretty obvious that you're going to overthrow the master and become him. The game isn't going to be 'You start out as a noob weak kid and you build yourself up'. You're going to start from where you left off.

3. It's going to be for the 360, so don't panic about wasting 700$ on a new version.

You're not going to start off where you left off. You start as a rebel to the crown, which PM has said takes about half the game to aquire, while the other half will be about what you do as ruler.

From this, it's pretty obvious that you're going to overthrow the master and become him. The game isn't going to be 'You start out as a noob weak kid and you build yourself up'. You're going to start from where you left off.

That's never been specifically stated. All that's been said is that you spend the first half of the game vying for the throne. There's still a chance that there will still be a childhood phase.

is this really happening? this debate has happened in 3 seperate threads ffs.

go on youtube right now, watch the ending cutscene to see the future. it shows pretty clearly that you will play as the son/daughter of your fable 2 hero.
you will spend the first half of the game fighting for the throne, and the second half maintaining it.

How cool would it be if you start the game as your Fable II hero and have to have a child to really get started in the quest for the crown.

I'm thinking the mechanics would be the same except that once you had a child you would then transfer control to that kid. Maybe you have a kid then you go on a long quest and when you get back there is a cut scene of you meeting the little one who you then become from that point on in the game.

Ok first of all, STFU. Do not come into a forum and act like you know everything about that game that still has a lot to be revealed about it. Also we all know this stuff except for your stupid no childhood, which is more stupid than "Oh from those Reach screenshots I can determine the gameplay" comments I've seen. You like the rest of us, know almost nothing about it.

i approve. it would be pretty great and immersive way to start the game if you controlled your fable 2 hero as an old man/women in the very beginning.

Well its not exactly what you could call the best days of my life. I am not going to say anymore than that. Also I don't like it when members come in and come to conclussions by seeing some stuff on a trailer than filling HUGE gaps with stuff that has no proof. I have done a summary of reach but I took what was in the trailer and then filled in the gaps with Halo Canon, making it solid evidence.

All the different plots you guys have talked about, whether they actually be true or not, sounds great to me! It'd be awesome to start out with all your powers, but I'd also love being the child of Fable 2's hero. Either way, I'd probably have alot of fun with it. Being a king sounds freaking awesome.

It's sounding really interesting, I was a bit disappointed with the 2nd one, but I still really liked the way it was put out, the levels were amazing too.
I'll be looking forward to playing this one!
