Fable III Question List

Please let me know dude. I'd like to see your answers.

1. Looking at Fable I, and Fable II, where did the Fable series fail time and time again?

2. Again looking to Fable I and II, what part of the overall gameplay did you enjoy? Story?

3. As a whole, how has the Fable Series grabbed your attention?

4. What do you HOPE Lionhead has changed and fixed in the upcoming Fable III?

5. What is your most anticipated Fable III Feature?

6. IF Fable III is a let-down, would you think about getting future Fable Games?

7. If Fable III was chosen as the greatest XBOX RPG, how would feel? Would you like it, or disagree with it?

-Thanks for Honest Answers. Just something I wanted to know.

Re: Fable III Question List

1. Personally I don't think any of the Fable games failed to fulfill my excitement. Unlike some other games. Fable II was a bit less than expected, I admit, but it didn't really make it any less enjoyable in overall. I did prefer the customization to homes more than that of Fable, while I disliked the lack of ability to customize your character's tattoos more.

2. I am all for the story, nothing more, nothing less. Actually, I said that wrong; nothing less, but some extra enjoyable things I would not mind, certainly. Comparing the story of Fable II to Fable TLC, I must say that even though the ending wasn't quite as expected, I did prefer the overall story of Fable II to the former. You see a lot of changes since the happenings of Jack of Blades' assault, and it very much intrigued me when I played it for the first time.

3. The Fable series managed to grab my attention because I'm a person who restricts himself to playing RPGs only, with a few exceptions. I'm pretty much aware of most upcoming RPGs and I do get the ones I like enough. The Fable franchise certainly is #1, whereas Mass Effect series would be #2, and Dragon Age: Origins/Awakening #3.

4. So far there isn't anything I dislike about Fable III; of course, assuming from what Peter Molyneux had promised the fans. I was hoping for some more information than given already, regarding the gauntlets. Beside that, I'm fine and am extremely anxious to have my Limited Edition, which'll certainly be worth the price!

5. Certainly the ability to 'touch' more, makes it much more immersive. Second interesting thing would be the changes made to overall map-use and the GUI.

6. Fable III won't be a let-down. I am 99.9x% sure about it, so I don't even take that into consideration. Peter Molyneux must be doing a real hard job at making an RPG that I'm not satisfied with.

7. That's not to be discussed in my case: the short and simple answer: yes.

@Gakoyu
Thanks. I feel about the same way.

Re: Fable III Question List

1) One thing I would have liked to have seen was a more open, free-range world to explore. I think Fable 2 is better than the original in this regard, but there's still room for improvement.

2) I like the story. I also really like the humor, especially in F2. I've been playing it for awhile now and am still finding little funny things in the game that make me laugh -- like the descriptions of items or weird things the NPCs say.

3) I just like RPGs in general, especially ones that have a more fantasy type setting like Fable (including heros, magic, sword fighting, etc.). I'm not into the outerspace/apocolyptic/shooter type RPGs so much.

4) I hope the co-op play is better in F3. I HATED F2 co-op when I first started doing it, but I've gotten used to it's crappiness over time. Also, see my answer to question #1.

5) Honestly, I've tried to avoid reading too much about what F3 will be like. I want to have lots of nice surprises come October 26th :D

6) Yeah, even if F3 sucks -- which is an absolutely riCOCKulous idea -- I'd still have hope that its sequel would rock.

7) Hmmm... seeing as I haven't played it yet, I can't say! :P

Neither of them were failures in my opinion. They each had their own flaws but every game has them and they're no different. The beauty of it is, is that I didn't read up on Fable II at all (where as I've done the exact opposite for Fable III) so I had no idea what to expect. Guess what? I loved it! I still do and while there are a few parts that I wish were fixed or they had done differently, I found it to be very enjoyable. The original was actually an amazing game and I still play it every now and then. Does it ever get boring? Not in the least bit!

2. Again looking to Fable I and II, what part of the overall gameplay did you enjoy? Story?

I did find Fable's story to be much better than the second one but that's not to say it didn't have parts to it that weren't enjoyable. I enjoyed the gameplay for both but at the same time, I wasn't happy with the auto-aim feature they included in Fable II. Catering to casuals is one thing but making it so that even a brain dead monkey could perform exceedingly well is another.

3. As a whole, how has the Fable Series grabbed your attention?

To be honest? I have no idea. I guess it's because it promised a lot of freedom (and delivered quite a bit). The fact that I could be as evil, good or as neutral as I wanted was just too great an opportunity to pass up.

4. What do you HOPE Lionhead has changed and fixed in the upcoming Fable III?

Me? Personally? I hope they fixed the guns. I love them to death but they were just too overpowered in Fable II. That's not necessarily a bad thing but it completely removes any challenge and as a self-proclaimed hardcore gamer, I like things that make me throw my controller in frustration. I'm also hoping they either completely removed the auto-aim feature or toned it down so much so that it's almost unnoticeable.

5. What is your most anticipated Fable III Feature?

There is just way too many to list. I do enjoy interior decorating (in games anyways) so being able to customize your house that much in Fable III has got me very giddy. I also like the fact that we can rule our own kingdom the way we want to while still being able to go off on adventures. I honestly hope we're able to declare war on other kingdoms and what not. Maybe a battle of epic proportions to take part in? Would be great for a battle-holic like me.

6. IF Fable III is a let-down, would you think about getting future Fable Games?

I honestly don't think it's possible for Fable III to be a letdown at this point. If it is, that's fine. The only person I can blame for hyping it up so much is myself. PM and the Lionhead team are doing their best to produce a very high quality game and if they can't deliver on everything, it's no big deal. I'll just not read about the stuff they decide to put in Fable IV and this way it'll allow me to truly enjoy everything it has since I'll be completely oblivious to what it contains.

7. If Fable III was chosen as the greatest XBOX RPG, how would feel? Would you like it, or disagree with it?

I would most definitely agree with it from the looks of things. Yes, perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself but there are numerous videos, screenshots and so on and so forth that are just... amazing! I honestly can't wait and I do have a feeling that it will be one of the greatest RPGs of all time.

Re: Fable III Question List

1. i don't think i've ever been disappointed by fable. i love the rich enchanting atmosphere of it, and i love creating a character i know and love. each game has presented me with a fantastic environment to do that with so i love them both. i don't find myself griping over the shortcomings of game mechanics and glitches, they do so much right and so much work and love is put in to them, how could i not? :D

2. The story and the way it's built around a faceless character. it offers the player a chance to insert their own internal dialogue to the sequences. for instance: you could go up to fight jack of blades with a hero of good alignment and be thinking "for all the harm you've done to my family and this land, i'm going to pwn you in the name of justice". on the contrary, you could go in with the most evil son of a gun that ever walked the face of albion and be thinking "you bad? you got my mom at knife point? i don't give two ****s cause i'm twice as bad as you are and i'm gonna have that sword for myself you hocky mask wearing, frilled robe wearing, geezer ass f****t." i prefer the latter, also my internal dialogue doesn't tend to be politically correct.

3. again, immersive environment and the role that the games allow you to fill.

4. i hope they put a lot of thought and effort into it as they have done in the past. they've been making fable for a long time now, so i'm just excited to see what they've done. i'm sure i'll enjoy it.

5. morphing weapons. i wanna see what my cutlass becomes after i've killed enough innocents.

6. as previously stated, in my case that'll be nearly impossible.

7. i would have to play it first. honestly, i don't think either fable could compare to oblivion in terms of quality. furthermore fable 3 is supposed to be less of an rpg if i recall correctly so it would be a pretty big "WTF" moment.
