Fable III Setting, and Albion's Setting Altogether
Fable I was in a grim fairy tale world. Towns, villages, and metal plated armors.
500 Years Later...
Fable II took on a period of enlightenment, science came forth. Guns were invented, Highwaymen appeared, and it resembled Europe in the Renaissance/Enlightenment Period.
50 Years Later...
Fable III takes place in the Industrial Period. Factories have come into play, and Bowerstone resembles an industrial city.
Medieval, Enlightenment, Industrial.
---
How do you feel about the different eras of Albion? Do you like them. What about III, does its era appeal with you?
---
I liked the grim fairy tale and the charming feeling of I. But I am not a fan of these types of things. If it were me, the game would be more realistic (no magic, no fairy-tale creatures etc).
Fable II's really appealed to me, mostly GUNS! I liked the setting of it. Sadly, the Heroes Guild had fallen... and this hurt to me.
III sounds exciting. It sounds like a slum-filled early New York in the Industrial Revolution.
