Fable inventory help

Hi. I know this must be pretty basic stuff, but I'm just playing through Fable now, to prepare for Fable 2...

and I'm wondering.. as I play Fable... I look through my inventory and items have cost written in Red or Green, with a number in brackets... also they have a damage/value written in brackets... can you help me understand what all of these numbers mean? Thanks...

Re: Fable inventory help

yuppers.. the red green numbers display the price of your item.. usually while you are trading.. green means a good deal when buying and a profit when selling red means a loss in selling and a bad deal in buying. the number to the left of that in parenthesese is the average cost of that item throughout albion
the damage value is simply the amount of damage your weapon is capable of doing. this varies by weapon type. so be careful when buying. to find the weapon right for you. also you can add augmentations to your weapons. just choose the weapon and then augment., but only if you have an augmentation with you! hunt around and your sure to find some. and welcome to the forum!

oh and if next to a damage value it has something like (-50) or (+50) that simply means that weapon is stronger/weaker than your wielded weapon by that amount.

Re: Fable inventory help

Costs written in white are the base costs.
Costs written in red are costs which the merchant charges you more.
Costs written in green are costs which the merchant charges you less.

The number in brackets is how many of a particular item you have.

The number in brackets by a weapon is how much damage the new weapon does in comparison to the weapon you wield now. You will see a -xx sign, a 0, or a +xx sign by where the weapon's power is. (X is how much damage the new weapon would give in comparison to the weapon you wield now.)
