fable problem

i've completed fable 2 nice and easy and bought the big castle in fairfax gardens but my wife got lost and i can't find her. it says she's in the castle but she's nowhere to be found! any suggestions?

Now, about your question, it sounds like you've got the standard wife disappearance glitch. We've all experienced it at one point or another. I'm not sure what triggers it (if anything), but in my experience, it seems to be more likely to happen when you do any of the following:

Marry Lady Grey
Live in Castle Fairfax
Live at Serenity Farm
Try to start the "Rescue" quest

Unfortunately, there's no fix for it. The only thing you'll be able to do is set your daily upkeep to zero, and if that's enough for her to divorce you, she will come back to do so. Sometimes, though, this doesn't even work. If it doesn't or you don't want to get a divorce despite the fact that she's gone, you'll either have to start a new game or live with your wife having disappeared.

Wife's disappear all the time, it's normal

i think that either you two are correct or it's because i sacraficed her to the shadows and the game thinks she's still there.
