fable problem

well when i start fable on the pc it says that my processor is too slow to run the game but i press the ''continue in safe mode'' button and the game starts normaly. i know the game is requiring 1.4 Ghz mine is 1.3 Ghz so it should work anyway but when i press the continue button it loads a short while and then it stops and the windows button on my keyboard doesnt work and either Ctrl + alt + del. and i have to restart the computer.O.o
Help...:(

Re: fable problem

Tried running this just to check?

System Requirements Lab

If so and its that, that says your processor isnt powerful enough then theres the problem. The only reason the opening runs is because it requires very little CPU power and soon as anymore is needed your PC cant handle it so it crashes out.

Re: fable problem

well anyway to fix it then?

Re: fable problem

Well.. usually when a game requires something, it's usually helpful to have. But lets see what the system requirements site says first :)

There is no way to fix it besides a processor upgrade if thats the problem. If your processor cant handle it then it cant handle it, theres no getting around that.

is it safe?

Re: fable problem

Welp, there is a way to 'go around it'... but it requires an in-depth and very personal knowledge of how your computer works... as well as possibly a screwdriver or three, a soldering iron and solder, new heatsinks, and a liquid cooling system... ^_~
