Fake wedding ring response is funny

If you give a girl a fake wedding ring, you'll usually get a response. The response I got was ," This is not even funny!" from a girl. LOL:D

Re: Fake wedding ring response is funny

Haha! It's the thought that counts though... right? ^_^

It's been ages since I proposed (on Fable, that is), think I might try it again and compile a list of all the negative remarks I receive...

Re: Fake wedding ring response is funny

Just don't go get any ideas Steve, now the days before the real thing. I don't think the real-life respons would be quite as humerous for anyone involved. :ninja:

Re: Fake wedding ring response is funny

Heh, I remember the responses from using a fake wedding ring! If I remember if you try it when the other person is drunk, they get very confused.
;)

Re: Fake wedding ring response is funny

I remember thinking - "hey! you should be grateful I'm giving you one at all when I could be with that identical NPC over there"

"Be a grateful bunch of pixels and take the damn ring!"

Re: Fake wedding ring response is funny

Is there anyway to get a character to marry you by using a fake ring? Would save a bundle for all the hardcore bigamists out there lol...

I got two women to marry me with a fake ring - one was drunk and said, "You what? ooh, alright then" and the other was just a lucky pick, I guess. I only marry them for their cash anyways - and the right to murder them in our marital home, of course.

O_O Murder she wrote. Next thing we'll have Jessica Fletcher stalking the fair lands of Albion trying to find the 'Cash Cow Killer' and when she fails quick as a flash Columbo will be in there.

Hmm, ill be back later, Im going down the pub with this curtain ring to get some chick drunk and bag me a wife. WIFE FTMFW!!!

*note to self make sure she is rich*

Re: Fake wedding ring response is funny

Just make sure you gets a decent bird, is all I can say. Apprentices from the Guild fetch you a nice bag of cash and the posher the girl, the richer you get. I like to work it around town, get a load of women with the green aura waiting for a ring then marry them one by one, bag the cash, kill the girl and move onto the next one before the previous woman has disappeared from the blood stained floor. Nice

Its ingenious if I do say so... do you do it stealthily or go for the all out whack and slash attack while her breath still pongs of the wedding booze you plied her with to make her as calm as a hindu cow....

Re: Fake wedding ring response is funny

It's the manly arm pump followed by the swift swipe of my SoA whilst she's busy simpering, "oh, I'm so happy hero...I love you so much"

Hehehe...stupid woman...this is why God made me anti-feminist...

 No bra burning for you then lol... or did they abolish that tradition :frenchy:

Sounds like a plan, I dont think I have ever played Fable and beat up my wifey or killed her. I got divorced once because I accidentally punched her... yes... it was accidental...
:ninja:

Its been so long since I played Fable, its sitting my 360 atm waiting on me cuddling it and apologising for being away for so long. I am Fable bish lmao...

I thought the cash was based on which town. Oakvale 1000 Hook Coast 10
It's also a great way to get renown

Re: Fake wedding ring response is funny

Well, I married someone from the Guild and got about 2000 for it and we lived in Bowerstone South...I dunno.

And no, bra-burning out of the question...feminists make me mad at the best of times :realmad:

That's because every "feminist" today is a total *****. They don't know the true meaning of the word at all. If I am not wrong, isn't being a feminist beliving in equallity between the sexes, not superiourity of one? For them, it's all out man-hating. Ever since the good ol' bra-burning days, and when women truly were looked upon as second class citizens, feminism is a big joke.

You've obviously studied the history of this a great deal Tsuyu, I guess that was part of your special Professional Pervert training at Pervert University in Pervington.

I still remember my first wife on my first account on the original Fable- she was a lovely barmaid from the tavern in Bowerstone South and we lived in the little house up the street. Good times. Only problem was she had serious trouble putting out for me... my poor character hardly got any, even when he offed JoB...
:'(

I hate ball-breakers - it's so unladylike to be that way. True, I hate the weird conception of feminism; we are equal but let's be honest, men are designed to be better at different stuff to women. We're better at nurturing and crap, men are better leaders and decision makers. Women who strive to "prove" that they can do this and that better than men are wasting their time and have to work doubly hard to even get to the same level as a man in some aspects, let alone surpass them - example would be physical strength. We are more flexible (which has some benefits ;)) but men are physically stronger than we are so it baffles me why some women feel the need to become bodybuilders just to prove a point. Why damage yourself irreparably for the sake of a false sense of pride? We're not built to be muscle-bound freaks - we're built, like it or not, to complement a man, not compete with his abilities.

Some women are never satisfied...I spent a fortune in jewels and other gifts before my wife would let me jump into bed with her. And I personally don't think it was worth eight diamonds...

That's not actually true, it's a socially acceptable stereotype. Men and women are both encouraged in the West to behave in ways that encourage said stereotypes, with women given dolls and enocouraged to share their feelings, men told to keep everything in and told that being a man means being strong. This, however, has absolutely no biological foundation. That's not to say that there are no differences between the sexes, that would be ridiculous, but the notion that men are more assertive and women more nurturing is not supported when one looks to biology.
There are a number of food foraging societies, still kept away from our media supported ideals of maleness and femaleness, that see things very differently. For them it is the women who hunt, the women who are aggressive, dominant, and stoic. It is men who share feelings, care for children, do the cooking, and wear bright flowery clothing. I say this only to demonstrate that "masculine" and "feminine" behaviours are not based in male or female, but rather indoctrinated into each of us by our culture... this is not neccessarily a bad thing, but it is what it is...

...hmmm... didn't mean to go so far off topic... just had to reply... this is kind of one of my major areas of study, so I just couldn't keep myself from the keyboard...
