fallout 3 acheivments are crap.

k, iv been enjoying the game so far, but i just compleated "following his footsteps" and i was wondering: WHERE THE **** IS MY ACHEIVMENT?!?! an autosave screwed me from going back and trying again, and the most recent save i have to try again would take me way back. gey.

i didnt compleat the quest the right way i guess, i made it to rivit city while attempting to finish the "those!" quest and got info that compleated "following his footsteps" and started the next quest. but no acheivment. lame. it did give me a message reading "quest compleat: following his footsteps". so where is my damn acheivment?! argh!

thanks for reading my rant, anyone else have this problem or a way to avoid this bullcrap in the futer?

why does this crap always happen to me? jezz its just like oblivion, twice the game screwed me over and gliched so i couldnt get acheivments. i had to start two new games, one to finish fighters guild, then another to finish theifs guild. now the game has become a chore for me, im paying my brother to finish it for me im so board. fallout is much better though. hope it stays that way.

Ive put about 40-50 hours into Fallout 3 so far on 2 playthroughs and only really had 4 glitches but none that were really bad & just reloaded a save from about 5-10 mins prior.

yeah, i just got it the other day and only put a few hours into it. i guess i will get that acheivment next playthough. not sure about getting all the acheivments though, i only do that on the games im really passionate about.

but, do you think the "reaver" acheivment in fallout 3 has anything to do with fable 2? i dont know why there is like a rivalry between the two games, they are nothing alike.

WARNING! At the end of the game .. (you'll know) Dont save it in the room! Thats what i did then your stuck in there forever and you cant get out.. ='[

Achievements work fine for me, only time i failed a quest or failed the achievement was when I ended up killing the person who starts the quest for me.

Like killing Mr. Crowley for the quest "You gotta shoot 'em in the Head", fail to get achievement, XP, and quest completion.

I think it glitched-out because you didn't actually "complete the" quest. You have to take a trip around Galaxy News Radio.

You just "closed" the quest up so that you could continue on with the story - you didn't complete all the objectives for the quest by bypassing a big chunk of it.

One rule for Fallout, save after you do everything! Especially if you are in the wilderness, since no auto saves will occur.
