Families

Is it just me, or does everyone else find the whole family thing painful.

your wife is never happy. always wants sex but will never take it (this is why i married a whore. she's always up for it thus happy family :))

anyway, i wanted to ask something. Once you've set a marital home for you and your wife, are you able to move your family to a bigger and better house or are they stuck there forever? because that would suck. i'm living in a hut of sorts

Re: Families

no wonder your family hates you! i dont have kids and when mywife gets ****y with me i take her to the temple of shadows for some bonus pionts.

Re: Families

Okay to answer your house moving question.

yes all you do is buy another house, Make your wife follow you there, then "Set as Martial Home" then tada! It should work, we will then Live there!

and then you can Rent our or Sell your other house

Re: Families

You can also just have them follow you to the house, then as soon as you buy it the first option is "buy and move in with spouse." That's a bit easier than buying a house, then running to get your spouse sometimes.

Re: Families

yeah dewd i love that quest

Re: Families

ah, chesty was great. but my game wants me to do it again... anyways, my wifes always happy and i think its because i set the allowance to like 150 gold when she only wants around 25-30 gold.

Re: Families

I have 4 wives and i set the budget for each to 2k

Hehe I've got the same problem; that quest just stayed active after I finished it (and I've got the Chesty trophy to prove it). I'm tempted to try just doing it again and seeing if it will go away, but I've also already lost one completed character to a horrible quest bug, so I'll probably just ignore it.

Re: Families

Kids are annoying to me. At first it was kind of cool but they won't stop following me around the house, and are always saying: "You're back!" after I spent 2 days around the house and yard hanging out with my family.

haha so true dude. you go to bed and wake up after 6 hours and your kids are nipping at your heels all excited that you've 'come back home' and they ask you for presents and all that.

at least my wife doesnt hassle me.

do you think your wives sleep around when you're away on quests???

Re: Families

i hate my daughter in the game, when i had her i was pure evil and corrupt but then i became good and pure and well...now she hates me and so now i pillage that village :D ya but marrage is alright i gave my wife 1 mill because well money making is easy in this game

Re: Families

@ the moving thing, it bugged for me. i tried moving my wife into another house, and now it says i have 2 wives of the same type, when i divorced the one that was visible, the other still stayed and shes not there, and it takes budget from me, cuz the bug wont let me set budget to 0, and its angering me.

also, i had a kid at evil, and it says hes evil then i had a girl when i was good to the sam mom and shes good, and since the evil one is older i feel sorry for her lol. i got another wife in the oakfield demon door, the place is just amazing, its so pretty in the afternoon, and theres a windmill, a shed, lots of trees surrounding, and its peaceful. the house itself is pretty nice too. my fav place by far

Re: Families

i've struggled to find a house that suits my expensive tastes. probably because i'm really not that far into the game.
damn job! restricting my fable time by like 8 hours every day

Re: Families

My husband likes the Bowerstone Market Area and I had to move house about four times before he'd stop moaning about the decor and positioning of the home. I was like "I just gave you a diamond, two kids and the night of your life - and you're still complaining??"

I'll kill him soon enough...but he's the owner of the bookstore so I need him for a little while longer...

Sometimes that doesn't work... at least I can't get it to work so I have to do it the follow way but... it's not really a problem.

Yeah I know everything about the unhappy problem, I've been married 15 times now, 12 of them I shot while they tried to leave me, 1 got killed by a balvarine while we were on a nice picnic and the other 2 others got out of line and sight before I could shoot em....

Is it possible to get more than one kid with the same wife? And can the kids grow up at all?

Yes they do! :P
I married this whore and moved to Oakfield with her, everytime I got home it was only my son at the house, my wife would come home the next day and be all mad at me, so one day I left town only to come back and sneak after my wife, I followed her up to the mill where she started getting all kissy kissy with a black dude that works up there, I showed myself to them and she began shouting at me that she was leaving and stuff.... 5 seconds later her and her lover was dead on the ground and the guards were on to me.

Re: Families

@siffo

the best i could find before beating the game was in Bowerstone market. it was to the right of the Clock tower if your looking at the bar. go down a lil ways and its the house with steps near it. (think its like 3 stars...)

Re: Families

I live at the brightwood farm that you can buy after you help the black guys gay son, I like that it comes with 6 servants that takes care of it.

No, I mean you still have to have your spouse follow you, but you can have them follow you to go BUY the house. You don't have to buy it and then have them follow you to it.
