Fans Rage against SEGA over Sonic The Hedgehog 4, Boycotts Game by Giving SEGA money

Thanks to the internet, the word "boycott" no longer conveys an element of gravitas. In fact, we're pretty certain that this collection of 1080 (and counting) Sonic fans doesn't actually understand the point of a boycott. The petitioners are upset about Sonic the Hedgehog 4, knowing full well from the leaked footage that it will "simply not be anywhere near as good as the original Sonic games." They're not going to stand for this and have threatened to hurt Sega where it hurts the most: sales. "We will not buy it," the petition explains. "We will in fact buy Sonic 1 on release in protest of Sonic 4."

Take that, Sega! Instead of giving you money, these people are going to ... give you money? Ha! Lesson learned.

So in order to protest they are going to line Segas pockets by purchasing another Sonic game? The reason Sega keep making them is because people keep buying them. If they want to stop Sega making more Sonic games that 'Are nowhere near as good as the original' then go and play the original and stop buying them year after year. Sonic was turned into a cash cow like Mario years ago and if the reason for them boycotting this one is what they have said it is then they should have done this about 12 years ago... morons. Though i bet half of them arent even old enough to have played the original when it came out.

There's a lot of ridiculous videogame petitions online, but this one really takes the cake based on what I've seen. They cry and beg for a classic Sonic remake with Sonic ONLY, they get it, and they still ***** and moan. What better way to teach them a lesson than giving them money, resulting in SEGA making a profit that was caused by the Sonic 4 release anyway... genius idea.

I mean look at this..

If they put shadow in the game I will buy it for sure. He is my favorite character. I even like him more than Sonic to be honest. I like black better than blue. Will Metal Sonic be in the game?

Yeah I'd be surprised if any of these 'Dedicated Sonic Fans' even played the original before it was released on Xbox Live Marketplace. I'm with Drakan, seems like a bunch of 10 year olds tbh

As i said, sound like children to me...

1st one wants a character added to the game that wasnt added until Sonic Adventure 2 in 2001. Though they wanted it to be like the original. Then the reason used is that he likes black better than blue...

2nd sounds like a kid who likes recording videos of himself and putting them on youtube a little to much.

3rd cant even spell Sonic so little more needs to be said.

4th is speaking about it like it was once his friend who betrayed him, showing he probably has no friends and spends all day making moronic comments on meaningless petitions.
