Far Cry 2 Looking Better Than Crysis?
Ubisoft and Crytek have just released a a tech demo trailer and a handful of screenshots of its upcoming sequel to its smash hit Far Cry. At least this one has been confirmed for consoles already by Ubisoft so we wont all have to sell any organs to pay for a PC to run it.

It also begs the question of course, what kind of PC hardware will you require to get the game running at that level of detail? But then it is coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 too, which Ubisoft confirmed at the start of the year.

his footage is a very brief taster of what the graphics engine behind the new Far Cry sequel can do. Set in Africa, the trailer shows a stunning level of detail in the environment and some impressive lighting affects.
See it for yourself in the movie player to your right, and picture how nice it'll render the explosions when you shoot a zebra with a rocket launcher.
