where can i find/get a farmers hat?

It's the Yokel hat just check most of the clothing traders roaming around (I think thats where I got mine, I honestly cant remember) but the name of the hat you are after is the "Yokel hat" I believe.

Digital 0sm0sis is correct, it is called the yokel hat and it can definatly be found in Oakfeild.

I do believe it is in Oakfield. I certainly saw a good deal of Clothing Venders who sold it as well so it shouldn't be too hard to come by.
I, myself, am searching for a Ranger coat and am having a bit of trouble finding one. Is there any clothing store that sells one indefinitely or should I just keep killing traveling merchants until I find one?

Oakfield had a chicken suit when I went there to get a Yokel hat. I got a full chicken suit and the hat I needed.

Now I have two chicken suits.
