FIFA 11 gets vuvuzelas

FIFA 11 will give you the option to add vuvuzelas into the game.... just not officially.

FIFA 11 producer David Rutter explains that the game will support custom audio settings, so you can upload your own sound clips.

That means you can add clapping, chanting, shouting, whatever you want. And yes, it also means you can upload the notorious drone of the vuvuzelas, the only thing that provided a talking point during the first week of the World Cup until teams remembered how to score.

Of course, you could just get your own vuvuzela and blast it down the headset during online games whenever you score.

We're sure players would love that. Just tell them it's a cultural thing.

I hope the custom sounds don't work online. I don't want some a*shole playing vuvuzelas every time he scores.

Honestly tho i find them extremely annoying. What happened to the singing and banter between nations. Now it's who can blow their horn the loudest ! lol

Its an odd idea but new... and for the record Vuvuzelas are incredibly annoying and i hope they get banned from games. So sick of the crowd being drowned out by what sounds like a swarm of bees in games on TV.
