find the bandit seeress : sneak past guards ?

having trouble sneeking past guards, they know i'm there, i hide behind rock (boulder) , left side of gate, facing the gate, i wait unitl 3rd guard is as far from gate as possible, have sneak (caps lock) on, he still sees me ? can i use my experience points to boost up something that will give me more sneak / stealth capabilities ? thanks

Just take them out with ebony or master bow

I just run as fast as I can and if they spot me, I just take them out then wait for the gate to open again and then run right past when they're not looking.
