I had done 3 first, and asked advice on whether 2 was worth it. I have just finished the main mission, and it was well worth it. Very entertaining.
Some people advised doing 2 before 3, because they relate to each other. Since I was almost done with 3 when I sought advise, it was a mute point. But there is something to be said for doing them out of turn.
I looked at it somewhat like,.... Star Wars. Star Wars began with the characters in the mists of battle. They then did sequels, but then they did prequels, where we then learn about the origin of the characters.
Both 2 and 3 sort of began with the,... music box. I remembered the box from the 3rd one, and in 2 got to see how it began.
Also, off in the distance from Driftwood in the 3rd one, I saw a Washington Monument type structure off in the distant sea. I tried to get to it, but couldn't. I thought it would eventually be a mission but it was not.
It peeked my interest in 3, and in 2 I get to see what it is all about.The Spire.
There are things better in 2 then 3, and better in 3 then 2. But Over all both well worth playing. ^_^
