Firefox 3.1+ Plugins

Well finally a stable release of firefox 3.1 has been released. With a few plugins this update easly tops Oprea (which is no easy feat). I will recommend some plugins and you guys can add some too!

Mouse gestures redox 2.02

This usefull tool, lets you open new tabs/windows and go backward and forward and nearly anthing you could do with the keyboard just with a simple click of wave of the mouse (a bit like using a ds stylus). I would rate this a solid 4/5 with a few bug fixes and a less specific wave gesture system it would be perfect.

Speed Dail 0.7.2

This tool helps you distingish your tabs easly, does what it says on the tin...simple effective and very usefull.A simple copy of opreas version, its will take a few hours of using to get use to the larger boxes (only applys if you use oprea otherwise it is perfect) 5/5

Tab Mix Plus + Tab scope

Take note these are two seperate plug-ins but they work best if you download both. Simple effective and another clone of an oprea feture with a few updates that make it near perfection. This tool lets you see what is in a tab when you hover your mouse over the tab, letting you refresh the page and many other things! 5/5

Tips
  • Make Tags for website that you use often- it will save allot of time
  • Keep your browser updated as much as possible
  • If you like using tabs keep the tab bar showing at all times it is just so mush easier that way and faster too!
  • Keep your homepages as the speed dail- it will save you allot of time and hassel.
  • Use and keep a google toolbar at the top right of your screen, it will stop you from constantly using google or most search engines for that matter.
  • Do virus scans often as they(viruses) can greatly reduce internet speed greatly.
EDIT:

Cooliris (formerly PicLens) 1.8.0.4280

Full-Screen, 3D -- Cooliris (formerly known as PicLens) transforms your browser into a visually stunning experience for searching, viewing, and sharing online photos and videos. Our "3D Wall" lets you effortlessly search and zoom your way around thousands of images, videos, news feeds, sports feeds, and more. To share stuff with friends, just drag and drop. See our demo at http://cooliris.com/demo . As recommend by RoC eX

Re: Firefox 3.1+ Plugins

That's good to hear! Firefox 3.1 is sounding really impressive so far with some nice new changes. Firefox 3.1 might even help sway me into coming back from Google Chrome... have to wait and see. ^_^

Always good to hear about new plugins. +rep

Re: Firefox 3.1+ Plugins

If you use Oprea- like how I used to (I still use it on the comopter-like now). This new update simplfies everything. The new tags feature makes browsing much faster! It is inferior to Oprea if you dont have any plugins on it but if you add the ones I reccommeded it easly tops every browser out (Crome is good but the lack of back/forrward button its a big loss and the fact that it does not have allot of features-I love the design though!)

My Chrome has a back/forward button.

And for FF 3.1 I would also recommend the "cooliris" plug-in.

Here is a Demo of the plug-in:
