First Viva Piñata 2 shots

After seeing Sharons thread on Viva Piñata i thought this might attract some interest.

Here are the first ever shots of Viva Pinata 2 - the sequel to Rare's Piñata-petting launch game.

These shots, along with the first screens of that Banjo Kazooie game you've waited years to see, hit the net over the weekend, destroying any NDA ahead of the big reveal that was planned for tomorrow.

As you can see from the shots, gardening and caring for those Piñatas is again the idea, only you can expect a host of new equipment to use and Piñatas to raise, in gorgeous new environments.

And that second control circle looks like a new two-player co-op mode to us. But you'll have to wait until tomorrow for the official unveiling.

This deserves a very big EEP! of excitement from me!!! It is just so nice to find a game where even the violence isn't really violent and I can play it with my kid...

Hugely underrated by the more hardcore gamers out there - it really is such a good relaxing game to play...

This game lacks violence indeed, but has the awful effect of driving players insane by not giving them Quackberries.

I started thinking and I couldn`t remember any game I`ve played that lacks violence... and violent behavior to complete your tasks.

Just like in the 80s when people were getting injured by Rubiks Cubes being thrown across rooms in frustration :lol:

Actually, this game does encourage corruption - if you want to get rid of Ruffians you need to bribe them enough to leave (for those lacking a decent shovel, Captain's Cutlass statue or tamed Sours). Similarly, you only get Ivor Bargain and his shop if you pay the beggar 1000 gold coins to get the hell out of your garden...

Viva Pinata 2? Should keep Sharon quiet for a good week or so while I spend some quality time with Call of Duty 4. ^_^

Yuppers - Steve has a new model and I've got his refurbished one...it's a tad temperamental but otherwise works perfectly...

I did whack Leafos but she stole my spade. And my watering can. Seedos did me a favour planting all those weeds when he got whacked though - I needed weeds for my variant award :lol:

Oh for definite - I'll be getting gold I think soon; just been hanging on for a game with enough replay value for it to be worth my purchasing a subscription. Just renewed Steve's for his birthday and got it for less than £30 so I might go to the same site again and do it for myself. 13 months worth isn't bad for £30...

Wouldn't it be cool if you could import your Viva Piñata chocolate coins as gold int Fable 2 :w00t: and for that matter Banjo Kazooie as well [/pipe dream]

I know you can't import your garden but I wonder if you'll be able to send packages between the games through the post.

I don't see why not - that would be a great enhancement to the postal system as it stands...
