flickering text problem on pc

The text flickers and sometimes is not even visible, which makes it hard to play the game.

I have Nvidia FX 5200 on 2.8 Celeron and 1gb RAM.

I've read online the problem may be fixed by turning vsynch on or off. Can't see an option to do that in Nvidia control
panel. Also read that Nvidia took some options out of the control panel with driver updates and my driver is fairly up
to date so maybe the option just isn't there any more.

Any advice on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated

Try this:

1. Start the game.
2. Click Options.
3. Click Video Options.
4. Change the antialiasing to OFF.
5. Click OK.

See if this helps at all.
