I was disappointed in Fable 2 for taking out the mercenaries you could hire in Fable 1 and the FLC. Something I would like to see more of in Fable 3 is hiring multiple body guards and being able to customize them.

Maybe now that we're king it'll be possible to have guards follow you. I didn't mind it though.

I didn't care much for mercenaries in Fable TLC, I only used them to be sacrified at the Chapel of Skorm, beyond that they were ignored.
