Forum delay?

Is it just me or does the forum suffer a delay in updating the counters of forumdisplay and forumhome? I tend to browse extremely quick as well as multi-task, and it's kind of annoying (some times) to see a reply being updated after a minute or two instead of instant.

Could be that an administrator did this manually though (for server purposes), so pardon if that's the case. Otherwise, it would be great if this issue could be resolved.

I have notified the Devie-Meister (as he is now asking me to call him. Don't ask ) and he's going to look into it as soon as he can to see if it's an issue that can be resolved

Hey SG,

It is indeed a bit of a nuisance but I decided to introduce some minor optimization tweaks recently in preparation for the release of Fable 3. I was blown away by how staggering the sheer number of individual users online grew to just under two years ago when Fable 2 came out and, what with vBulletin being impossibly bloated, it brought the server to its knees.

I'm sort of paranoid that history might repeat itself so I'm ensuring that every possible optimization technique has been implemented. I can't wait until XenForo comes out personally so we can just migrate over to that.
