Freaky things happening to my char's skin!

Hey folks. I've finished Fable 2, so I decided to go back and play the first Fable (the XBox 360 download from Live Marketplace). I'm seeing some weird things happening to my character's skin and I can't tell if it's from an in-game effect, or if it's a bug in this version. My character has been going through some very odd changes.

For some reason, at one point, he was covered in giant brown leaves.

Then most of his face went smurf blue (exactly as if he had faceplanted into a bucket of paint), and his limbs were a gangrene color.

Then his chest went smurf blue, except for a normal patch in the center, and his face looked like a rock formation with red and blue stripes.

Then his face faded really pale green-blue, with a jokeresque blue line for a smile across his face, and the edges of his head are still smurf blue. So are his knees.

I have NO idea what is going on here or if it follows any logic whatsoever. It didn't happen because of quests. I just did my usual running around and leveling. Any idea what's happening here?

Newest development: He has the fire monkey tattoo on his face even though I never put it there. It remains even though I select "remove tattoos." wtf?

That is definitely a glitch. It's been mentioned before, and I think I even saw some screenshots. But I can't help you. Good luck with it.

I think you're right. I figured recently that it might be a texture issue when I walked into Bowerstone and suddenly my armor had the texture for Ronok the Axe (which looked really incredible, actually... note to modders, lol!). I'm just gonna have to get used to texture switching and enjoy the show, since nobody in the game is going to notice the changes.

Aha, I get this all the time when I buy new tattoos. Sometimes its quite lollage. If it's a random occurance (Oh, what's occuring?) then I dunno what to say, but if, like me, you get when you buy a new tattoo, just save before you buy it.

i don't think you should fix that problem
from what you described, i think that might be quite a good tattoo

That's happened to me before, but it doesn't anymore. If your game is anything like mine (which it might not be considering I have TLC, and it's on PC), it will pass.

I think I know what your talking about. I did a thread about it a while back here.

The only explanation I can think of is that the Xbox 360 tends to mess up some textures, particularly tattoos. This seems to happen no matter what version you are playing, be it download, TLC on disc, or regular Fable on disc.

I thought this only affected tattoos, but from what your saying it seems to affect other textures as well.

Like I said before, it seems to be the fault of the 360, and there isn't really anything you can do about it. On the bright side, I have seen some pretty entertaining affects from this glitch. For example, I got a character to be completely covered in rune tattoos that resemble the markings on stones found around Albion (like the "Focus Sites").

The blue skin can be explained... it happens when your game cannot find a particular texture, so it turns blue as a default (many games have blue as their default, I don't know why)... The other skins are, like that Ronok Armour, just misplaced textures... you've got a mixed up game
