Free game from EA store for APB buyers

EA is offering a free game to customers that purchased APB via Steam - as compensation for closing down the MMO earlier this month. The publisher is offering players one download from any recent game through the EA store.

The list includes the likes of:

Mass Effect 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Spore
The Saboteur
Burnout Paradise
The Ultimate Box
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
A host of others.

However, the deal doesnt extend to pre-orders judging by early reports.

APB was shut down after just three months online.​

That's crazy. APB is only like...five minutes old.

Oh, well, it's a cool move for EA to compensate frustrated customers with a replacement game.

Good idea for an MMO but very poorly done and received mixed reviews.

oh ma gawd i bought the gam played it for 12 hours and stopped cuz it sucked and needed to change it badly. now i can get a free awesome game. EA rocks

wow... the concept is unbelievable. it's a shame it wasn't done properly.
