freezing on 360

i dont know why but my fable: the lost chapters, keeps freezing when i play it on my 360. i have no other choice because i sold my origanol xbox . i still want to play the game but i cant play when it freezes half way through every quest. im currently on the hobb cave quest (i did the hero save trick for keys) if it matters, got about 12-13 keys out of it

I know this seems obvious but have you tried cleaning the disk yet? I'm playing my copy of Fable on my 360 and I have no problems with it so far.

As I said in the other thread, be sure that you don't have anything that interferes with the 360's cooling system (like an item blocking one of the air intakes) and that the power thingy (big black thing with an orange light on it) doesn't stand next to the 360 as it generates a lot of heat.

ive tried cleaning the disk resurfacing the disk... and theres nothin in front of any my air vents also i have the power thing rather far away from my 360... i dno ive tried everything

Hmm, you might have to clear the 360's Cache (i doubt that's the problem), or you might have a scratch on the disc that's not very visible. But i'm sure it's most likely the disc that's the problem, and not your 360. You might either have to buy a new copy , or give cleaning the disc another try as mentioned above.

I would suggest maybe cleaning the disc tray, as it might be dusty or dirty. Other than that, instead of just cleaning the disc, I'd get a small repair kit and give it a fix. And if either idea is any good than you'll be needing to get a new game.

mostly just fable but other origanol games will freeze sometimes as well

im goin through the list trying everything btw... exept buying a new game.. last resort

It could be your system. Maybe you should consider getting it repaired if it is still under warranty.

nothing nearly that long, more like after an hour or so
and i got it 4 cristmas.... still under waranty ?

the only problem i ever have is Lag it is quite slow playing on the 360 did anyone realize this? because it takes 4reveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee to be contuinued last time on this post we had that<eeer i hate the fact it always lags when i play but im getting bored playing the same game over you know how on the back cover of the game it says never play the same game twice i can do it alllll the time au revior

Yeah, this happend to me a while back ( 4 days ago ) and then after all that my xbox 360 got the Three Rings of death

Anyways.. What i did.. Was When i got to a good point, i saved like 2 or 3. Because one of my saved games would be screwy, and the other one would just be happy.

I really dont know why. If one of my saved games went bad, i just went to another oen and picked up from there. I beat it 2 times on my 360. Yeah, mine had crashes. Sometimes i had to start the WHOOLE Game over. Just keep tryin to clean the disc, too. Me and my friend did it once, and worked out fine.

This could be whats caused it as it creates loading partitions at points in the game when they shouldnt be there.

Yeah, it crashes when you get to like 15 or 16 keys, as i found out.

If you do the key glitch to get infinite keys on the 360, and if u get liek 15 or 16 keys, that saved game will crash. Even if u make multiple of them.
