Game Boy Virtual Console hits 3DS

If you ever wanted to replay those classic Game Boy titles like the original Pokemon, Super C, Tetris, and even Link’s Awakening DX, you will now be able to when you purchase your Nintendo 3DS! Ohhh yeah, Nintendo announced at it’s press conference that the 3DS will have a Virtual Console where you can download both Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

While no actual games were mentioned, Kotaku reports that the two games shown at the conference were Link’s Awakening DX and Super Mario Land.

So, what happens to be on your wish list of Game Boy games?

That's pretty cool. The original Gameboy was always my favourite one - despite chomping through four AA-batteries every couple of hours. As long as Tetris makes a comeback in it's old green and black glory, I will be happy.

This is a feature I was hoping would be added to the DSi, but oh well. Just ANOTHER reason to get a 3DS. <3

Hmm, this is something I probably wouldn't use if I got a 3DS, but it's still cool.

By the way, does anyone know if the 3DS takes different games than the regular DS?
