I have one gargoyle remaining, and it's waiting for me at Lion's Head Isle, but my game keeps freezing every time I travel there! I've tried everything, from removing DLC and patches to installing the game to my 360 Hard Drive. I am very frustrated as I've spent an entire day searching for the gargoyles, only get cheated right at the very end.

Did you remove the DLC and patches by deleting the 360 cache or manually removed the game and DLC? Only other thing I can think is that you may have a corrupted item in inventory thats causing it, I have heard of others having the exact same issue still up to 2 years ago and as long ago as 6 years ago it started but was never patched.
