For anyone who doesnt know, the Game Critics Association is comprised of journalists from both enthusiast outlets like GameSpot and major media outlets including Time and The Washington Post. Edge-Online, GamesRadar and PC Gamer also have journalists in the Association.

Winners will be announced on August 5th.

Thanks, Dark. If they don't get that, I'll assume something is wrong with this whole system, and the judges, may be bought off, for all I know. Fable 2 has to be the most original game I've played. Maybe they're mad cause, we only allow 1 or 2 players, into our world. They can't s...., this game up, online, like so many others. :realmad:

Fallout 3 and Dragon Age Origins are also great contenders though. Bethesda are highly acclaimed for Morrowind and Oblivion. Then Dragon Age Origins is created by Bioware one of the most highly regarded companies in the industry.

Never played any of those. I play Kotor games, Knights, etc. Fond of 007, games. The Force Unleashed is coming.^_^ And then Fable. I have a few others, but none are mentioned.
Is Oblivion for the 360? Is it any good? Heard a lot about it, but mostly people complaining.

Oblivion is a great game, pretty huge too. Yeah its on 360, wish i had that version and not the PC version as mine screwed up with a dodgy patch.

Fable 2 as far as known has its awsome bells and whistles, but isn't as original as say games like Little Big Planet or Mirror's Edge where gameple is a fresh concept all together.

Oblivion won game of the year with alot of groups for...I believe 2006.

I have great expectations for Fallout 3, There is no boubt in my mind that it can win best console game.

It all depends on how badly they end up violating the Fallout name. If you've played the two old Fallouts, you know what a game with that name is supposed to be. Hopefully Fallout 3 will live up to the expectations, but I can't say that I don't have my doubts.
