Gamespot review

Gamespot's Fable 2 review is up! Scored an 8.5/10. While it's not as high as I expected, I felt it was a good review. What really surprised me was that they didn't find the story very deep. What's also interesting is that I've noticed the reviewers from across the pond in Europe have given it much better reviews than those here in the States.

yeh i noticed that. I think most reviewers didnt spend enough time playing the game to fully appreciated what has been done. i think if u just went through the story you wouldnt attach yourself as much to your dog wife etc. still to watch the review so ill do that now.

It seems like most of "us" Americans didn't understand the sense of humor and such to the game. Kind of strange, but it happens.

The reason fable isnt getting appreciated is that its different.

Its not gears of war its not halo and its not COD4- Its not american

It heavily based on english surrounding and therefor of course people at the uk will like it more with every other game having an american protagonist, plus i wouldnt actually call fable an RPG not like final fantasy its more of a WORLD game were you actually control what happens.

8.5 is pretty low because fable 1 got the same, ill still be picking up my copy on friday :D:D:D
(btw i dont get american sence of humor in games, it seems there more prone to one liners)
