That's what I did at GameStop, but they already had my email address. I get the occasional email from them already, but I just checked, and there wasn't anything about my villager maker code. Hey James, did you preorder it online or in the store? And when exactly did you receive this email with your code?

Yeah, I actually went in a week or so after I pre-ordered to try and get my code... The man at the front implied I was an idiot, and stated I would receive it upon release... but I'm still very unsure.

I ordered it online, and I got it yesterday. so I don't know about in store, the closest gamestop is 3 1/2 hours away.

Hmm, alright. I just got some more cash so I'm heading over to GameStop to drop it off for Fable 3 and The Force Unleashed 2 next weekend anyway since I'm still paying them off. I need to remember to ask about the code this time, especially since you got yours. I forgot to ask them about it the last time I went to drop off a payment.

Probably their automated system sends the e-mails to the online users before the in-store pre-order users.

I think In-store preorders get the codes at pick up.

I pre-ordered in store and I don't think they have my email. I'm assuming I'll get the code at pickup but I honestly don't care about the villager maker anyway.
