Gears of War 2's Dark Corners & All Fronts Collection Now Available

Written Tuesday, July 28, 2009 by Dan Webb
Epic's latest Gears of War 2 content - the Dark Corners Multiplayer Map Pack and the All Fronts Collection - is available right now on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The Dark Corners content features 7 new multiplayer maps and a short deleted campaign mission, all for 1,200 Microsoft Points, whereas the All Fronts Collection will set you back 1,600 points and includes all the Dark Corners content and all other map packs to date (Flashback, Snowblind & Combustible).

For more details on the content, head to the original announcement here.

You're better off getting the collection then.

I already have the flashback and compustible map packs.

Yeah but snowblind is 800 so if you get the 1200 and 800mp map packs it'll cost most than to just get the 1600mp collection..

I'm SO tempted but I don't really even play Gears anymore. I would feel awfully guilty if I sunk $20 into the map packs and didn't play them. The new stealth mode is very intriguing though.

Decisions, decisions.

I brought the Dark Corners DLC on day one and think it's pretty good. I only really like the Nowhere map but it's cool getting back into Horde again in order to unlock the other achievements. The Deleted Scene wasn't too bad either. I didn't mind that it was short as hell, I just wish it wasn't set in the Hollow (think that's what it's called...) - I always found the underground Locust levels a little dull.
