Great news for those who have high-end PC's, but don't own an Xbox 360. Really great game, but the PC release i'm sure could have been seen coming from a mile away. No word on a US release date though for now, but there will definitely be one.

It took a while for all concerned to admit that Epic’s hugely successful Xbox 360 shooter Gears of War was indeed coming to PC – but following the confirmation at July’s E3 Microsoft has finally dated the game’s arrival.
The game will be released in the UK on November 9th, and Microsoft has every reason to expect a sales performance every bit as strong as that seen when the 360 version was released.
The PC iteration will boast additional single player and multiplayer content.
