Ghostly haunting

As he crept amongst the shadows Fector aimed his canister rifle at the rebels moving about fifty metres in front of him, Fector was a "Ghost" an elite Black-ops soldier with psychic capabilities, his mission was to spy on this rebel group, and report their activity to the Terran Dominion. He scoped his gun across the landscape, a dusty barren landscape, green skies, corpses of several creatures laying around, carrion birds swarm overhead. He viewed the base: Three supply depots, a barracks and a couple of bunkers outlying the area, he counted around thirty rebels, all armed with Gauss rifles and a side arm, but only four had power armor, which means twentysix would go down in a single blow, if needed. Fector clicked on his com-link "This is Codename-Fector here, uploading visual recording from rifle-cam, awaiting orders." He proceeded to uplink his rifle to his helmet, providing a direct uplink to the battleship hovering right outside of visual range. He scoped the base again slowly to give the battleship Admiral his view, then he heard a click "This is Admiral Jameston, your orders are as follows: Wait until we fire on the base, after our barrage is over you may commence neutralisation of all hostiles. Over and out" He had his orders, now it was just a wait, assuming the ship was not ready for combat, it would be a five minute charge time, then they would probably bombard the base with several ATG Laser blasts before he would be sent in. The wait was bearable, the heat wasn't, he was in a cave in the desserts of Dau Sara, one of the hottest planets in all of the Terran Sector. Not even the Ghost internal cooling systems could keep him to cool, though it had reduced it from 98F to 78F, but even with that temperature, after several days of being in it is tiring. Fector saw the first laser drop, a ball of fire erupted around a Vulture bike. several more lasers fell and after the barrage was over there were five more soldiers and a depot, Fector swooped in with his cloaking on, he shot as he jogged, Bam! He took out one, then antoher, before they could pinpoint him They opened fire, bringing led wholes all over, he raised and fired twice, two more down, last but not least, "No please! Have mercy!" the final one yelled, Fector walked up to the man, "Its going to be okay..." he said, still cloaked "I wont hurt you..." the man whimpered "I will exterminate you." Fector quickly drew his combat knife and slit the rebels throat, then walked to the depot, attached a bomb to the entrance and walked away, into his still cloaked wraith, and flew up to the battleship as a fiery explosion happened behind them... Mission accomplished.
