Glitch or Not?

i made a new charcter and for the first time the guy u find on the darkwood escort quest that was bit never turned into a balverine???

He simply lives happily ever after, like the other guys. I have never had him turn on a specific spot on the route, so I suspect his 'turning' has a timer on it as I've managed to save him too a couple of times. =]

If you're quick enough through the forest that can happen. I've only done it once. When I didn't have heal so I ran through each area to prevent them from being killed.

That's happened to me, over...5 times. His Turning into a balverine is timed, and I'm not sure how much time he has, but if you do the quest quick enough, he won't turn into a balverine.

It's a bit of a shame you don't get any extra reward for saving him though. Would've been quite cool, and unexpected the first time you do it because you always expect him to turn on you.

It would also be cool if he turned once he got to Barrow Fields :devil:

He turns into a balverine at midnight :) (I know that because i tried to get skorms bow by sacrificing him)

I did this a few times on my files, and I started to experiment a little bit. My guy just wasn't fast enough to get to barrow fields :( I'm remaking my character and trying again. Heh heh it could get interesting if he did transform in Barrow Fields

I think his transformation becomes Null once you get to barrow Fields

probaly because he isnt in darkwoods evil mutating effect it doesnt happen when he isnt in there

i made him wait for me and finished the quest and then qhent bac and killed him in balvarene form


( he kept pwning my other traders!)

Damn, I just nearly saved him this time around. I had kicked the bejebus outta the troll and perhaps one step from the exit he turned. Oh well.

could you mod it so he COULD transform in barrow fields? :devil:
