Good but not pure

This is an idea I have for the morality system. For certain decisions, you can do a good act but lose purity points. For example, as a child your sister walks up to you and says there is a big beetle/spider in her room. The beetle isn't hostile and so killing it for your sister will get you good points but you will lose purity for killing it. Or you could leave the beetle and gain purity but lose good points. Maybe this could be made into bigger decisions. I know you can be good/corrupt and evil/pure, but the choices you make in fable 2 are usually evil is also corrupt and pure is also good. I would like to see a contrast in moral choices.

Re: Good but not pure

Actually PM has mentioned they will no longer have a good/evil system but only a corrupt/pure one. I cant find the source atm it may even be outdated. but i believe the resoning was it was more fitting for the political setting. I will attempt to find source but if others can it will be appreciated

Re: Good but not pure

Idk how moral system worked in Fable 2 because I didn't play it, but I like your idea... you could make some 'moral middle ground' with it and not just be good or bad...

Re: Good but not pure

thats a good point. i think that there should be a more in depth system for aligment.

Re: Good but not pure

i could see how that could work but it could also be a huge problem for new players to grasp the whole concept i LOVE the idea i think the choices in fable need to actually change the world like they say. ive noticed that those choices that are supposed to change the whole world really dont make as big of an impact and i think that needs to improve alot
