Hey guys. I just finished the game as a good guy with no citizens lost. I think previous posts already covered how to do this - you need lots of money. 6.5 million doesn't actually cut it if you want to do all the nice guy responses and keep all of your promises. I dropped about 10.5 million in the treasury, and I still had some left over and above the 6.5 million necessary for 0 civilian casualties.

Getting that much money is not really a problem if you start investing early. As soon as you are able to get the Landlord and Entrepreneur packs then pick them up. Spend an hour or so doing some pie-making, blacksmithing, or lute playing. Promptly start buying every house and business that you are able to afford. I only needed about 10,000 in starting gold from jobs to have a 25 million net worth at the end of the game. Just make sure you keep spending your money on purchasing property while you play through the game. Do take some time to do as many of the side-quests that you can handle because that will give you more time played to let the treasury build up.

The key is to invest a bit of time and as much money as you can as early in the game as possible, then just sit back and let your cash roll in as you play through the game. Simply keep all houses and businesses on "Normal" rent and prices. By mid-game you will have so much gold coming in that it will be easy just to walk through a new area and buy everything up once you get there. (Or use your map for easier purchasing and repairing. Its much faster.) By the end of the game you will own every business and house in Albion. You will be making approximately 150,000 gold every five minutes.

Have fun!

I don't mean to sound rude but real estate has already been a well known tactic for earning gold since Fable II.

I was lazy on my first playthrough and let something like five million citizens die... even though I was "good".

Well, I *did* state above that the tactic has probably already been mentioned, and I was just trying to be of assistance...so, you're right. Next time I will just ignore the dozens of "I tried to be a good guy, and now all of my people are dead!" posts.

It's probably better that way. You'll see those threads pop up all the time regardless of whether you post up a helpful thread like this or not.

*cough* cheated *cough*

But really when I heard that the only way to keep everyone alive was to have a lot of money I glitched the money.

i had unlimited money well i like to think so anyway what i would like to know is i still lost 10billion ppl as if i care but anyway i was wondering maybe it was to do with all the choices i had made or some other factor

where do you go for the blacksmithing haven't seen that job in the game yet.....and houses aren't great in this game with the up keep and that wastes money
