Good or evil

Hey everybody this is my first time using this forum but I am a long time Fable player. In Fable 3 I am a bit confused. When I get people to follow me does that I am doing a good deed or is it just part of the game. It says you can choose to make them follow you or not. Does anybody have any idea? I want to make my player as evil as possible. Let me know thanks!

Ok that's what I was thinking after doing some research. I guess how else would you open the gates on the road to rule. Thanks again! Anybody else have any input?

i'm not terribly far yet, but it feels like you just need guild seals to advance (apart from the followers from the plot).
so i think you can finish the game being a complete prick as long as you do enough side quests.

if you've gotten farther into the game then CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG
a yes or no should do... no mention of why it's important to have people like you

I think the majority of the times when you can make a evil decision, you will be presented with two choices. And is it just me or are the choices MUCH more weighty than in previous fables, ie, the two choices Logan gives you in the beginning, I actually had trouble deciding that one.

There always seems to be an evil thing to do at the end of a quest like for instance you could behead or spare a character, but the choices dont seem to make any difference however some do mostly the choices as king make you Good or Evil not when you are a hero. Im not very far in the story so I could be wrong this is just a guess.
