GTA IV DLC Still Coming 'Fall'

There were rumours circulating that the awaited Downloadable Content for Rockstars blockbuster title GTA IV had been delayed. However Microsoft have come out and said that these rumours are false and it is still on track for 'Fall'. The confusion came after Take Two CEO Ben Feder said it had been moved to fiscal year 2009. However Take Two's Q1 09 begins in November 2008, and ends in January 2009.

Microsoft has informed CVG that the first DLC episodes for Xbox 360 are still on track for a "fall 2008" release, following earlier reports of a delay.

In a recent statement, Take-Two CEO Ben Feder said that the first of the DLC had been shifted to Q1 of the company's fiscal year 2009.

But that doesn't mean it's out in the calendar year 2009, says MS, who tells us the plan is still to release the first downloadable episode on Xbox in 2008.

"The first of the Xbox 360 exclusive "Grand Theft Auto IV" episodes will be available beginning fall 2008," MS told CVG.
