guns and cross bows but no bows

in fable 2 i seen countless times guns in gameplay videos
and heard rumors of cross bows
but they said no bows!:'(
why!, does the gun have the same fire rate as the bow, so they re-placed the bow?
also is there a shot gun or a easter egg for a...

there are not any bows. sad i know. but if you get enough experience using guns, you gain the ability to fire the gun rapidly, even more rapid than a bow. and i do believe there will be crossbows aswell, but i know for a fact that regular bows will not be in the game. and as for easter eggs...... i guess we will just have to wait and see.

hate to burst your bubble, but as far as i know, fable 2 is only for xbox 360. at least for a little while, like with TLC, so the pc users may have to wait little while...... so looks like there isnt gonna be any mods, and thats just not cool, yes im talking to you PM.....

Yeah guns. It's set in a more colonial era, like the 1600s, whereas Fable was more your medieval setting.

I'll miss my bow (skorms bow!) but moving on I can't wait to see how the gun works in the game! And to be truthful I don't use mods in fable.

Im looking forward to rifles! Something new and fun.......But im still a melee fan hardcore. Ill use a rifle over a cross-bow anyday. Never used a cross-bow never will
