Guns,Bows and Crossbows?Idea!
Guns should be more powerful. But really loud. depending on firepower.
But there is no evidence of gun use. (no one probably looks for bullet holes)
Bows and arrows, weak but silent. But there is 100% evidence of use once arrow is seen through a dead body
Crossbows should be in between. because of sudden movement, louder that bow and goes into flesh more deeper than an arrow.
an example like this which i have been thinking
ok... i call it a sound wave.
when you make a mainly stealth game, you should have like this invisible shockwave that 'propels' the sound. the louder the sound is, the more it expands.
or you can just program something like this sound goes up to this much.
