Halo 3 Beta Test

The multiplayer beta test for Halo 3 is expected to be happening within the next few months, and the first two phases of entry have been closed according to Bungie Studios.

Bungie have released a Frequently Asked Questions guide for the beta on its Web site which can be found here: Bungie.net FAQ

Not everything has been revealed as of yet, however the FAQ does give gamers an idea of what to expect from the Beta.

Bungie says that there will be a few surprises for even the most hardcore Halo fan. In addition to getting their hands on some of the game's new weapons, like the Spartan Laser, the mysterious function of the X button will be revealed...

Yay! Got my Beta invite, can't wait! Knowing my luck I'll be on holiday for the exact time that the beta is up and running. Don't suppose anyone has any idea of when the beta might be and how long it will be running? I'd like to think around July time for at least a month.

They havent yet confirmed the exact dates for the Beta test from what i can find.
