Halo 3 Legendary Edition Sold Out In UK

Seems the people who thought that not many people would bother with purchasing the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 were wrong. Its just been reported by Microsoft that all of them have indeed sold out in the UK and been preordered. CVG has a competition to win the last few:

Actually the US get it a day before we do on 25th September and we get it on 26th. Though hopefully as i have preordered it from a great site i will get mine on afternoon of 25th or Morning of 26th so have it quite early by UK standards.

Im actually surprised as we always get games released on Fridays but Bungie has opted to release Halo 3 on a Wednesday here (early) so thats nice.

We didnt expect it on that date though, we were expecting them to say it was going to be released on 28th September as that was next Friday after US release. However they didnt and when they said 26th it left quite a few of us staring at the calender thinking 'Well that cant be right, thats not a Friday'.

Oh... Good thing it was only this game or my friend (Who is a video game FREAK) would go to China and get the game and have a translator translate everything from Chinese to English.

Only thing is with that is im pretty sure region code wouldnt allow it to play on an NTSC format 360 without it being modded and if it was modded then no Xbox Live for them.

Yeah seems like a lot of effort seem as though id think China would get it on same day or after US as Halo 3 wont be as big there as it is in US and UK. China and Japan arent to big on their shooters.

exactly... foreign markets don't get products sooner than domestic...

Seem as though the 360 hasn't got a big Market there and they don't really like shooters they wouldn't get it before US and UK. Bungie are an American based studio so why would China get it before US?
