With Halo 4, 343i have been trying to meet certain demands of the modern FPS crowd. Halo's classic way of doing things has fallen in popularity compared to other shooters (COUGH CALL OF DUTY COUGH). It's obvious that 343i have been trying to incorporate features that gamers have become used to while still maintaining what is quintessentially Halo.
One feature they've had to adopt is the option of instant respawn (with an after-death kill cam). While this is a welcome addition to keeping up the pace of the action, it complicates a classic element of Halo multiplayer: teabagging. That delicious feeling of being able to send an opponent into a rage with just the click of a joystick. The troll's bread and butter since the early days of Halo 2. With people no longer forced to look at their bodies for several seconds after death, there is no joy in teabagging them. The hopeful troll is left only to wallow in solitude as his opponent respawns before the killer's genitalia can be witnessed upon the face of the dead.
The solution? LEAVE A HOLOGRAM SO THAT WHEN THEY STUMBLE UPON THEIR CORPSE, THEY SEE THEMSELVES BEING VIOLATED! IT MAY EVEN BE MORE HUMILIATING THAT WAY!
