Halo Reach campaign exposed

Bungie's shown off Halo Reach at E3.

The developer offered the first glimpse of Halo Reach's campaign mode at Microsoft's E3 press conference, showing off an epic Spartan vs. Elites beach battle with lots of armour abilities, drop ships and explosions.

What was most striking about the demo was the huge leap in scale since Halo 3; the Spartans boarded a huge space ship and launched INTO ORBIT to escape the Covenant assault. Halo Reach is going to be HUGE.

The player character then ejected from the ship to have a DOG FIGHT in SPACE. This is certainly not a Halo rehash.

Didnt see any post about this so thought id post it. Really looking forward to this now, seems Bungie want to take Halo out with a bang and this could be the best Halo ever.

I agree, but they seem to hype it up with, 'Seems like no Halo rehash,' but the thing is, when you watch it, it looks EXACTLY like Halo 3. Still abit ambiguous...

Well you cant change the 'look' of Halo as the armours and races will always be the same. Some nice new techniques with the steath kills and awesome looking space firefight (which people have been asking for since Halo 2). Added with armour abilities, larger scale battles and improved co-op and new weapons and ways to fight (jetpacks etc) it seems they have improved where ever they can.

looks good to me. this will make for some great multiplayer space battles a la star wars: battlefront II

Looks pretty damm sick. Lol the ship fights at the end reminded me of a cheap arcade game

Looks good I might get it when it goes down in price in a couple of years...Im not all into shooters but I love a good storyline..

^Halo actually has a very interesting storyline to start with. They've even written books of it. I've got I think two of 'em. I know one was about how Spartans were selected, trained, and more importantly how master chief became Master Chief.

The books were really good for being based off a game, and the story is pretty cool. I just wish there was more "After War" content, like how all the races (Human and otherwise) lived together after the Covenant turned into a small group. It would be cool to see a Halo version of the 'Citadel' with brutes and Lekgolo worms and Elites etc.

^Ya but even after the humans and elites were at peace the elites returned because the humans still couldn't forgive them for what they did even though they had their thanks. They parted ways afterwards.
