Halo3 vs. Fable2

I dont know about you guys, but Im a hge Halo and Fable fan. I think that Fable is going to win my vote in the upcoming launches. I think this because its an RPG, and there is much more things that you can do in it than in Halo. Halo has also already had two games, so it should be better than Fable, but Fable is a game that makes you just want to jump into the screen and take control of the character. SO what do you guys think on this?

While I will agree that Fable will be the most entertaining, you KNOW that most of the Halo Fanatics will make sure Halo 3 succeeds, even if it IS a possible flop.

as was already mentioned... Fable 2 is an RPG, whereas Halo 3 is a SHOOTER... there is no "competition" between them...nor a fair means by which to compare them...
they are both totally wicked franchises that will both be releasing 2 of the powerhouse titles of the 360...
they will both do well... I know I'll be stampeding over my own sweet old grandmother to get them... mmm...

The past does not equal the future. Given how much stuff was left out of fable its amazing how good of a game it is.

I totally agree with Hex's statement. RPG Vs SHOOTER just..isn't right. Nor should they compare on any level. Comparing games is just stupid anyway. >>;

*points and laughs at you* Zelda and fable are almost EXACTLY the same type of thing.

Chests, Sword, running around.

Zelda has a horse and sheild though.

But they both have the same general feel to me.

There shouldn't be a competition between them just as the reason Hex stated. Different markets, no point in debating it.

Well, I disagree....sorta. While you couldn't compare game play and related stuff, you could always compare your own personal liking - I guarantee you that you will like one of the two games more, if just a wee tiny bit more.


But as none of the games are out yet, it's kinda impossible.

I agree with Tsuyu there are not alike. you will like one more than the other no matter what.Me I like both the halo series and fable series, but have to pick one.

Aside from other medieval-based fantasy computer and console games alike. Fable 2 offers something else. Not just action and adventure, but choice and destiny. Halo 3 will offer a good story mode, but not as much freedom as Fable 2. So, will Fable 2 be better than Halo 3? Undecidable. That's because they are both two different genres. I myself am a Halo and Fable fan, so it would be hard for me to decide, personally.

Im going to close this thread as its a pointless argument between two completely different genres and titles that we seem to see ALL the time.

I will however add rep to Hex's comment, Sephi's Comment and Albion Knights comment full of sales stats etc :thumbsup:
