Americans celebrate Thanksgiving in November, so that's probably what you're thinking of

For the US and elsewhere it is, but it in Canada, it's celebrated on the 2nd Monday of every October. Was alittle confused at first, until i remembered.

it's ok... they have the same name so a lot of people assume they have them at the same time, but they're not... they aren't even really about the same thing... they're just very similar in practice nowadays

didnt think we did. OH i remembered why do the British celebrate Halloween its and American thing im still unsure of how it came over here.

they celebrate it to be thankful for what we have at the Harvest
the first one ever was to celebrate that we all hadn't died yet
I'm pretty thankful for that =]

As good a reason as any...sounds a tad like when we do Harvest Festival which they are slowly phasing out because according to all the white people in government, the Muslims have an issue with it :lol:

And andythegill - Brits and Celts started Halloween and then it gradually became a holiday elsewhere in the world. It was originally a pagan festival but somewhere along the line it became more of a party than anything else...
