Hello!

Well I figure I should post something on here. My only purpose for joining really was because of the like 2 threads pertaining to Jack of Blades costumes! My mask is coming along nicely :3

Ummmmmmm what to say about myself. I dunno. I like my Xbox and my Steam, I'm 18 from Canada, and I just finished my mask! *is off to upload pictures*

Ill link pics in a second, wondering if I should make a thread about it somewhere else on here about my costume progress...

But basically I took a cheap plain mask from the store and used plastercloth over it to make it sturdier and change the facial structure up a bit. From there I penciled on the lines and then used a hot glue gun over those lines so that they would bump out and would be protected from paint. Then it was simply a matter of painting it up with acrylic, even though some parts I used black acrylic like watercolour XD

Since I started typing only 7 pictures of 28 have uploaded. Damned 10 Megapixel! I'll sort through which ones are relevant though.

A picture of the mask with pencil drawings, I added a bit of plaster to the eyes so it would look less rounded.

I plan on making the Happy and Mad masks as well, this neutral mask was mostly a trial run. Also any Idea's where I could post this elsewhere? I don't know these forums well yet. ^^;

intresting. you maybe should try to sell them. but i would supose to make stuff of fable II in place of TLC since fable II is new. anyway looks cool

I doubt I'd be able to make too many, had to swipe the paints from my school, and it was only a small amount. I have other paint but it will require careful mixing of colours to get the proper effect...... >_> I should just have enough for the Happy and Mad masks.

Actually that didn't require much effort.


EDIT: OH NO I JUST REALIZED I FORGOT ONE OF THE MOUTH STITCHES!!!!! *runs work area to add it on.*

Also does anyone know anyone who might be able to help with making gauntlets out of craft foam? XD
