Help! Game freezing-need some info pls
I don't know if there is anything I can do about this. I was in Oakdale, after about 4 hours into the game and was walking in the tavern by the bard. The dialog came up for me to have him sing a song and I went to walk away. When I left the tavern, the game got slow (my character walking extremely slow), the npcs stopped walking, and the dialog to press A for the bard was still up. I tried to restart the Xbox, by saving then shutting down. When I restarted, the scene was exactly as I left it with the A dialog still there. I then thought that maybe I could go to a different area on the map, so I tried to warp (or whatever the game calls it) and it said that I could not leave the area until the scene is over. I also tried to do the job in Oakdale, cutting wood, thinking that it would help, but then the screen just went black and froze. I don't know if there is anything I can do at this time or not. Some background info... I don't have anything downloaded, I just got my Xbox for Christmas and have not hooked up to Xbox Live yet. The Xbox is a newer one and the version of Fable 2 that I have is the Limited Edition. I hope that I can continue this game, but if there is no fix, I will not be happy. I am going to be getting Xbox Live by the end of the week, so I wasn't sure if updating the game would help or not. I was also thinking, after I get the new XBLE, if saving the game to the hard drive would fix this or not. If anyone has any ideas to how I can fix this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.
