Help! I can't do anything!

My game is stuck in "cutscene"-mode. It shows the game in the "letterbox"-mode (black stripes at the bottom and upper parts of the screen). For example it doesn't display any cues as to which buttons I should press (Like A to interact with someone) and that makes it so I can't actually interact with anything!

Take the game disc out, clean it, put it again. Try again the same place, if that doesn't work then remove the disc, clean the cache install the game and then try again. If that doesn't work then clean again the disc and try cleaning the cache once more. If that doesn't work either then join the Anti-Molyneux club. (or just go back to the store and ask for a replacement using a lie)

Nothing is wrong with the disc. Game plays fine otherwise. I'm simply stuck in cutscene/cinematic mode for some reason. That is why I can't interact with anything...

Tried to reset the game? And who knows, perhaps the disc has something to do...

did anything work for you? my game is stuck right now. i can do pretty much anything but for some reason it just wont progress. im in the bowerstone sewers and Walter and my dog are just staring at the locked door in Paige's room. im waiting for my xbox to finish downloading the game. im going to see if this does something

Unfortunately I don't know what it could be. File a report here. They monitor it daily. Start a new character I guess until there's an update and play around.

Nuts to that. I'm putting Fable 3 on the shelf until they patch this. I'm not starting over when I made it as far as I have (being King and all).

But...it took you like a week. If you want I could fund you and provide you with weapons. I could be your co-op partner with you also to make the quests go faster. You could also skip cutscenes to speed it up. Let me know.

Kind of glad im holding off until Christmas to get it now, hopefully most the issues will be patched by the time i get around to playing it. Im also glad the next few months are really packed with great games coming out so i wont even be tempted to purchase it beforehand as i shall be busy with other games.
