Help Me Decide
Okay, so four years ago I helped one of the companies I now work for start annual Halloween parties that are hosted by one of the clubs that we are associated with. These parties last 2-nights and feature a 3-night "Horror Maze" that has been acclaimed as the best in Central Jersey. For the first 3 years we held the event at a club called 88Keys, but now under new management, we are no longer holding it there. This year we are hoping to get a deal with another club that we work with called The Colorado Café so we can do it there. If they agree, then I will once again take the role of one of the frightening inhabitants of the Horror Maze, but I need to choose what role it will be.
Now in previous years I have taken the role of Leatherface and an Evil Scarecrow, not being able to attend the third annual event due to me having to scare children as an Evil Jester at another event. But I love working in the Maze. I love the look on peoples’ faces as they realize that the scarecrow which was hanging on the wooden planks a second ago is no longer there, or the screams that women and even grown men let out when the barbaric-looking figure in the corner gets up at runs at them with a chainsaw, and etc. So this year I am hoping that our plans are approved and I can once again dwell in the evil darkness that is our Horror Maze. This is where you come in. I need you to read the choices I have and choose your favorite. I included some visual aids just in case you don't know what they look like:
A. Pyramid Head (Silent Hill)
Costume: Staying true to the movie version of Pyramid Head, I will handcraft the helmet and giant knife, purchase skin-like fabric (most likely a type of leather) and make the bloodstained butcher apron made of stitched human skin that he wears, and I will buy either platform boots or stilts to bring myself to the appropriate inhuman height.
Scenario: So you are about half way through the maze (unknowingly of course) and you have already seen quite a fair share of horrors to tell of. Now you round a corner and step into the beginning of a very long hallway with dim flickering lights. As you squint to see if anything is lurking down the hall a tall figure begins to round the corner at the far end. As it comes around one of the flickering lights temporarily illuminates the figure, revealing the hellish Pyramid Head, standing taller than any human and dragging his immense knife behind him. Slowly trudging toward you, you have no idea what to do. Just then a frightened and bloodied woman emerges from a hidden doorway half-way down the hall, crying out for you to come to safety. It is then that you realize that you must reach the doorway before the Pyramid Head does. Though he is moving slowly, he already has a head start on you. Sprinting to the door you arrive just before the Pyramid Head reaches it. The woman is waiting by the doorway and you hurry inside to safety, but it isn’t over yet. The lights go out in the room and you are immersed in darkness. Then a light in the hallway begins to flicker, revealing the silhouette of the woman in the open doorway... and the hulking Pyramid Head standing behind you. It is then that the hellbent creature grabs the woman by the neck, slams her into the wall until she is unconscious (or dead), and drags her limp body away into the darkness. (End of Pyramid Head Scene)

B. Big Top (Killer Klowns from Outer Space)
C. Shorty
D. Slim
E. Storefront/Un-named
Outfit: While I usually oppose full over-the-head masks, opting for special effects face-pieces, I spotted a set of "Klown" masks from one of my favorite B-movies of all time, Killer Klowns from Outer Space. All of the masks are near replicas of the masks used in the movie except for Big Top, which is exaggerated but still looks amazing (I’m guessing it wasn’t made by the same company). Right now I’m leaning more towards the Big Top mask but maybe your choices will change my mind. As for the rest of the outfit I will purchase one of the full "Killer Klown" suits and I will again wear stilts since the Klowns are freakishly huge, except for "Shorty."
Scenarios (Same for all Clowns): You enter into a dark room, dimly lit by black lights. In front of you is a couch facing the away from you, two human figures are sitting on it, motionless, victims of this room’s inhabitant. As you slowly move around the couch, worrying that one of the people on the couch may still be alive, a spotlight turns on in the middle of the room. Under it is a large figure in a clown suit, but it is leaning over away from you so you cannot see it’s head. It is moving around, you know it’s up to something but don’t want to disturb it. On the other side of the room you see light coming from a doorway, your exit. As you tip-toe towards your escape, the clown spins around towards the bodies on the couch, standing freakishly tall and revealing it’s terrifying face. In it’s hand it’s twisting a balloon animal into shape as if it was in front of a live audience. That’s when it spots you, dropping the balloon animal to the floor. It moves towards you, blocking you way out. Horrified, you look for a way out. Then one of the bodies on the couch lurches forward and throws himself at the clown, a last ditch effort to save your life. Un-faltered, the clown grabs the man, lifts him up, and begins to choke him to death. Though you want to help him now is your only chance to escape (that and the fact that the disclaimer you signed advises you not to touch the inhabitants of the maze). You run to the door and get away, shaken but unharmed. (End of Killer Klowns Scene)

And if you want to see some pics from previous years...
Halloween '05: There were a lot of pics but this album holds my favorites: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26855998@N03/sets/72157607701999132/
And this was my character for that year:
Halloween '06: I somehow lost the folder holding the photographer's pictures from the '06 maze so instead I just put some pics taken with my phone showing me with some of the other inhabitants and three others showing my scenario: http://www.flickr.com/photos/26855998@N03/sets/72157607707722941/
As you can see from the album, this was my character:
Let me know what you think.
