HELP PLEASE!!

My young hero texture thingy is messed up and now its always like a regular bald hero in his underpants. I tried converting the young hero texture mesh thing (or whatever it's called) into the regular hero and all it turns up is the same hero with the young face.. I know I could probably fix this problem by reinstalling, but if there's a simpler way, PLEASE post it here.

PS. I'm new to modding

tell me about it. i really wanted to play fable all the way thruogh with a child-looking charqacter just for the hell of it.. it was working with my other characters before, then when I made it be a child all the way through, it suddenly turned him into whisper at the child stage, then it wouldn't load back up when I got to the guild. found out it was because whisper was set to be me as a child for some reason. don't know how that happened. then when I set it back up so I could play as a kid, all it would make a kid was the head. tried starting it over and in the child stage it was a normal hero with a kids face in his underpants :'(
