Help reducing fear

I've got a bit of a problem.

I accidentally went on a bit of a rampage in Oakfield, and now half the citizens, and more importantly the monks, run screaming whenever I go near them.

It's not so much a problem with a lot of the villagers. I just fart and belch for a few minutes and they think I'm great again, but I am having a problem getting the monks back onside.

Whenever I fart/belch, it just makes them fear me even more.

Is there any way I can get the monks to stop being scared and believe that I won't kill them... so I can sacrifice them in the Temple of Shadows.

LOL!! ROFLMFAOOL!!! this whole sentence is twisted!! i get u tho... well, have u tried other expressions other than fart or belch? Or u could try donating to tha temple of light... When u say massacre, do u mean tha quest "Oakfield Massacre", or were u just bored and killed alot of people?

Re: Help reducing fear

get them to like you, wear funny clothes like the chicken suit. Or wear monk robes. Do funny expressions like sock puppets, etc.

Hi! :D

Nah, I haven't got as far as the Oakfield massacre quest yet. I was doing one of the Assassination quests, and I had to kill Mark the Barman. I got him to follow me and I led him round the side of the tavern and killed him, but just as I was killing him someone saw me. He ran off and got the town guards and rather than pay the fine I decided to resist arrest.

Next thing I know I've killed about 20 town guards and they just keep coming. So I ran off, and when I went back later I took the community service option.
Now everyone in the town, including by betrothed, are so scared of me I can't get near them. Those damn monks are too serious to be impressed by the usual antics, in fact it makes them worse.

So you think trying other expressions might work on them?

I was starting to think that once you get someone scared to a certain point, you can;t win them back.

Good idea on the donating to the temple of light though... i'll give tghat a try when i get home.

"I accidentally went on a bit of a rampage in Oakfield."

"Oops, sorry. My sword fell out of my hand and killed you."

Yeah, I overkill the word "accidentally".

Re: Help reducing fear

Never mind.

Yeah, anyway.

I did the Dance expression and failed and the Fart expression while wearing no clothes apart from the Boxers you keep on.

Disgusting how your Hero never changes underwear.

Well it was an accident in the sense that I accidentally let someone witness me slay a villager, causing the town guards to get freaky on my ass and make me kill loads of them.

:8 ()

theron_leroux - thanks for the chicken suit guide!
